Pediatric Partners, a part of the Sevita family, provides comprehensive in-home and clinic-based therapeutic services for infants, children, and young adults. Our teams of compassionate pediatric experts help children with medically complex, developmental, behavioral, educational, or other needs learn the skills they need to thrive. We offer physical, occupational, speech-language and feeding therapy; augmentative and alternative communication; mental health counseling, applied behavior analysis, and early intervention services.

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Full Time | $25-$30


Pediatric Partners is seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our pediatric therapy team. This in person full time role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced Speech-Language Pathologists in a collaborative, child-centered environment focused on helping children develop essential communication skills and achieve meaningful outcomes.


Under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant provides direct therapy services to children with speech, language, communication, and related disorders. The SLPA implements treatment plans, supports family education, assists with documentation, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to promote positive developmental outcomes.



Essential Responsibilities

  • Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions to children with speech, language, communication, and related disorders.
  • Support children who utilize or may benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
  • Assist with speech, language, and communication assessments as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Educate and train families, caregivers, and other professionals on treatment strategies and carryover activities.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with therapists, administrative staff, and billing teams to support quality service delivery.
  • Participate in staff meetings, team collaboration, and ongoing professional development activities.
  • Maintain current licensure and all required credentials.
  • Apply evidence-based practices, sound clinical judgment, and professional decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional pediatric care.

Qualifications


Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited college or university.
  • Current Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant License in good standing
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skill
Preferred:
  • Pediatric therapy experience.
  • Experience working with children who utilize AAC devices and communication systems.
  • Experience collaborating with families and multidisciplinary care teams.
