Role Summary

  • Testing & Verification: Lead component-level and system-level validation, executing strict testing protocols on electrical hardware to guarantee performance, signal integrity, and battery efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare documentation and perform IEC testing (including IEC 60601-1 and home-use medical device safety standards) to ensure strict adherence to FDA guidelines.
  • Risk Management & Failure Analysis: Participate in Risk Analysis (FMEA) processes specifically tailored to home-use medical systems. Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshooting on complex electrical device malfunctions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with mechanical engineers, clinical researchers, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to seamlessly transition designs from prototype to scaled production.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering , Biomedical Engineering (with an electrical or mechanical focus), or a closely related technical field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on engineering experience , ideally within a regulated medical device setting, healthcare technology space, or high-reliability hardware industry.
